HELLO CHICAGO! I love this town and love these people. They tied the knot at The Pink Shell and chose some awesome classics for their wedding. ”Ice Castles” as she graced the isle and Air Supply for first dance! We are going back to Chicago this summer to do it all over again for the peeps that couldn’t come down, how unique!!

This is why I do what I do. This is one of those weddings that changes how I do future weddings and reminds me to be grateful for all that I have been given. Highlights of the event were Johnnie’s entrance down the isle to “Marry Me” sung by yours truly and their first dance to “The Broken Road” by Rascal Flats where Barry lifted her and danced to not a
dry eye. They are a special couple and I’m so grateful they picked me to perform for them 11.11.11. I will never forget that date, can’t wait to sees the pictures!

The Steve Farst Trio was invited to the party to this weather perfect night on the beach. Highlights were a version of “Tumbling Tumbleweeds” that put the father of the bride into tears! He used to call Sheryl, his youngest daughter and our beautiful bride, “Tumbleweed”. What an honor to play for their special dance. The wedding crew had a super great time tearing up the Ft. Myers Beach and The Pink Shell. Once again planner Dony Bruder at The Pink Shell above and beyond a picture perfect destination wedding…

Last wedding of October was very special to me, I have know the beautiful bride for many years and will only mention a few highlights for me. Performance of “When I Look to the Sky” by Train dedicated to her father (not a dry eye)and a stellar 80′s party with guests that danced ALL NIGHT! What great friends they have!

October 22, 2011 was one of the best weather days yet this year, the fall is starting to really arrive! The couple had a beach wedding and reception at The Pink Shell with the assistance of coordinator Dony from the resort. Those in the business know her name as one of the best! Highlight of the night was Ukrainian dancing by the groom and his professional dance friends, Josh singing the first dance “Now and Forever” with me on guitar and of course a special performance by Missy’s mother. Anything is possible!

…and tie the knot they did! They had a beautiful beach wedding, once again the weather held off, and reception in the main ballroom. Highlight for me was closing the night with a version of “Africa” by Toto, one of the couples requests and my all time favorite song!

This is a great idea for ultimate intimacy for couples! This couple were married October 12, 2011 privately on the green at Casa Y Bel then had a romantic dinner serverd for two while I serenaded them by candle light. Highlight for me was an acoustic version of “We Belong” by Pat Benatar. Very creative and original couple, made it so much fun for me and gave me room to visualize a different approach.

A beautiful wedding at The Tarpon Lodge, Pine Island, FL. The couple invited “The Steve Farst Trio” for a night of southern classic rock and roll. We can’t thank them enough for allowing us to play music that we love and is a part of all our “southern” heritage. The night concluded with an epic version of the song “Shout”!

October 8, 2011 on Sanibel Island two great friends were married to each other on the sand and had their after party/reception at a beautiful location mid-island. The rain held off just long enough for the vows to emerge. Congratulations great friends!
